Cooking in Poland & Ukraine WCK for Refugees!

Hello from Ukraine! I pulled a Jack Bauer and went rogue, over the wall, a 4-hour drive into Ukraine with another humanitarian group here to deliver 4 tons of food to a convalescent hospital. We unloaded the truck in about 20 minutes and, channeling our inner Meatloaf, got out of there like a bat out of hell. Made it back in 2 hours then sat at the border for 3 hours in 95F heat. I nearly passed out a few times, it was sweltering. The woman we delivered the food to asked me if I had any connection to Poland or Ukraine. I told her no. She asked why would I come all this way. I said I just wanted to help. Tears welled up in her eyes and she gave me a big hug and thanked me.
