David Hunt for Draper City Council

I love Draper. I am committed to Draper. My kids go to school in Draper, my family owns two businesses in Draper, we work in Draper and we serve the community in Draper. Draper is transforming in ways few could have imagined even a decade ago. Competent, diligent, creative, strategic, open-minded and skilled leadership is more important now that ever. As a business lawyer and leader for over two decades dealing with businesses and state and federal regulatory agencies from coast-to-coast, I have developed unique perspectives and skills to help lead Draper’s continued advancement as a top city and community. I am straightforward, inclusive, creative, intelligent and experienced. I am skilled at creatively working toward mutually beneficial solutions. I am currently President of the Governing Board of Draper’s public Channing Hall School and have enjoyed helping bring the school community together to provide input on strategic decisions for the school. In 2019, the Board was formally recognized as one of the top charter school boards in the State of Utah. I look forward to thoughtfully contributing to the broader Draper community as a part of the city's leadership team during this time of rapid development.
