I came into the law enforcement career field when I was in the Navy. I was assigned the Master at Arms position once I arrived at my first command onboard the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier warship. This is where I feel in love and an extreme passion for the law enforcement profession. After the Navy, I became a City Police Officer in South Texas. I then received my bachelor's degree from Park University and my Master's degree from UTEP Then going on become a civilian Police Officer with the DoD and then the Department of Affairs police department, which I loved the most besides interacting and helping our veteran war heroes. I was able to protect those who protected us. I moved back to El Paso to be closer to family and for the opportunity to run for Constable for the Northeast of El Paso, TX. Where I was born and raised. I treasure those great moments growing up in the Northeast, which I will help keep safe from harm. I want to re-implement the reserve police officer program. we have a lot of experiences and knowledgeable police officers that our community may benefit from. As well as new cadets that have no experience could gain experience from this program while working alongside our veteran police officers. And retired police officers that just want to still help their community by offering their services. This helps this will not increase the taxpayer’s money for this program. Another benefit to having the reserve officer please program is that with the extra volunteer helps we I want to have help monitor and enforce schools on violations during their busiest peak times of when students go to school and are leaving school. I strongly believe in the open-door policy where if any member of the community would like to meet in person or write to me about anything. I always would try to have an answer, if not at that moment I will go find the answer an get back to you. As well as enforcing handicap violations when I used to work with the VA Police Department. I use to be able to find at least 10 handicap violations daily. I want to work closely with the City Council for District 4. The Northeast of El Paso Texas to have monthly town hall meetings with the local community to hear any kind of issues that we might be having within our community and any inputs of an idea that the community may have to help improve our local Northeast community. Community policing will mean that the deputy constable and myself will not just the system with the justice peace but also within the community by also not being in our patrol cruises by getting out and talking to personnel getting to know our local community even better.
