## About

Hello! My name is Bettina Smith Edmondson, and I am running for the Layton City Council. As you research candidates, I want to share a little bit about me and why I am running. I’ve lived in our Layton community for the majority of my life. I love our city and I am grateful for the life we have here. My desire to serve has recently driven me to run for office to make our community even better.

\- I am running to ensure we remove the barriers to entry for opportunities for our citizens.

\- I am running to keep you informed and updated about how your tax dollars help to build a better city.

\- I am running to make sure everyone's voice is heard and represented at the decision-making table.

I would appreciate your financial support in any amount. I will use your donations to spread the word about my candidacy through social media campaigns, signs, t-shirts, other marketing strategies and to support the workers on my campaign. Any amount you provide will be used wisely and is appreciated!

Thank you for your prayers and your support!
