I moved to Utah in 2012 from Wisconsin, and from my first visit to friends in Holladay, I felt a strong connection to the community, its natural beauty, and the welcoming spirit of its residents. The stars finally aligned when I was able to make Holladay my home with my other-half, Alicia, these last few years.
My background in operations and business technology has given me the tools to solve complex problems and communicate effectively, but more importantly, my time here has shown me how much people want an open, accessible, and forward-thinking city government.
As a younger candidate, I am eager to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the council table. Holladay has a wealth of experience, and by combining that with innovation and a willingness to listen, I believe we can find creative solutions to both long-standing and emerging challenges.
Whether it’s balancing thoughtful growth with the preservation of our local character, keeping public safety and fiscal responsibility front and center, or making sure everyone’s voice is heard, my focus will always be on practical, respectful, and transparent leadership.
In the last City Council meeting, under the context of Code Enforcement, Council Member Brewer urged us to remember the Golden Rule—treating others as we wish to be treated. I take that to heart and want to carry forward that legacy, ensuring that every decision for Holladay is made with fairness, empathy, and the drive to build a place where everyone feels valued.
Thank you for considering me as your next representative. I am ready to listen, to serve, and keep Holladay the same, only better.
