It is an important year to elect someone who is committed to increasing voter turnout, reducing confusion about the election process and committed to ensuring that important check-and-balance systems are in place to safeguard taxpayer money. I grew up in Heber, went to school here, raised my family here, and I pay my taxes here. I understand from a personal level the importance of who our elected officials are, and what a big difference our vote can make here at the local level.

I bring to this position, my user-experiences with our local government, the passion of a long-time community member and advocate, and my professional skills with attention to detail and the ability to keep up-to-date with changing industry technology, regulations and requirements.

As your county clerk, I am committed to working with the team at the clerk’s office as we continue to improve the voting process from registering voters, to shepherding candidates through the filing process, and helping voters make informed choices.

As your county auditor, I pledge to be a good steward of taxpayer money to assure that our county has the resources we need on a daily basis and the ability to be responsive to events like the covid-19 situation we are currently experiencing. This situation will have long-term effects on our local and national economy and surely, on our county budget. I am prepared to lead us through that experience.
