Our vision is to help others and the communities that need our help. Currently, we help with food, clothes, socks, beanies, and personal hygiene products for those in need.
We desire to help on a larger scale by supplying the communities with the resources need. We want to build community and recreation centers, churches, and credit unions with free financial and business education, programs for women and children, at-risk youth, homeless and drug addicted, and all underserved.
This ministry was birthed while we ourselves were going through trials and tribulations. God spoke to me one day by putting it on my heart, to take care of others. My initial response was no way! AND how! I had NOTHING! So, HIS response was I'll show you how, and I'll give you seed to sow.
While still struggling myself, I received the idea to put an ad on Craigslist stating that if you have items you want to donate and just don't have the time, don't know where, or just don't feel like it, I'll pick it up for you and drop it off at a charity that needs it. That was my seed! I never took a receipt from the charities as I'm not doing it for my own benefit, but for the benefit of others.
When we picked up clothes, there were so many items that were not donatable, but the rest, we washed, sanitized, dried, and neatly folded, and given to those in need. We've donated our own items as well, bought items and supplies with our own money, that we really didn't have or needed for bills, but if it's not enough for your need, it's a seed!
We need our tax-exempt status with the IRS which is expensive. Currently we are organized as a 501c3 non-profit recognized by the California Secretary of State which is a victory all of it's own, but we do need the tax-exempt status.
Also, we need a building to hold the donations we receive. Our small kitchen get so full of donations, especially during COVID-19 when although we always get everything donated, it's not as quick as I'd like it. Many organizations limit what can be donated at this time, but we continue to accept whatever we can, giving the people the ability to get their seed sown! So we are in need of a building, preferably one where we can live there as well. We've been threatened with eviction during this time, but we still stay obedient to the LORD.
