Join the efforts to tell local officials we need to Fill the Love!

Loveland is a beautiful community full of residents and visitors who come to marvel at the majesty of the Rockies. People from all around the world come together in our little town! 

But, for 9 months out of the year, Loveland has one major eyesore. Our idyllic beautiful town is blighted by the emptying of Lake Loveland.  When this happens, the lake is completely unusable and ugly. Instead of enjoying all the activities the lake has to offer, we just talk about the mudpit in the middle of town. 

Lake Loveland is truly the representation of how we as a community present ourselves, as millions of cars drive by to go visit our sculpture park, our downtown and other places on their way to Estes Park, it makes photos and the Loveland experience feel a little more murky  

It’s time to change that!  Fill the Love is a group of community supporters that believes Loveland can do better. We believe that the City of Loveland can find a solution with our partners to keep water in Lake Loveland year round. 

Our city government has not taken a real look at how to solve this seemingly simple challenge in our community and so we are asking you to join our efforts to tell City Hall we want to save the iconicness of Loveland and tell them to find a solution.  They will say it's hard, that it will be expensive, or it simply can’t be done.  We don’t believe that to be true.  There are very few challenges like this government can’t solve, they just need to roll up their sleeves and simply find a solution.  

Every Lovelander has a Lake Loveland story. Whether you watched fireworks with your family, took your wedding photos there, or even just enjoyed a walk around, Lake Loveland has a special place in our town. Join Us to Fill the Love!
