Michael Fitzgerald For Commissioner

I am running for Ada County Commissioner because our community deserves a leader who prioritizes people over politics. As an Idaho native, I have witnessed the challenges our rapid growth has created. I am committed to finding common sense solutions that keep our home affordable and vibrant for everyone.

I spent my formative years in Meridian and Kuna, attending Treasure Valley Baptist School through middle and high school. My blue-collar career path demonstrates work ethic and integrity our community values. Those values have carried me through jobs in the retail, food service, and hotel sectors, and especially in the construction industry. Having worked extensively in HVAC and roofing, I know what it means to show up every day and work under tough conditions. When I look at our state, I see hardworking individuals who could be represented better by their government. Right now people are being led by those who may not have their best interests at heart. I want to change that. 

My commitment to Ada county is personal. I married my wonderful wife Bethany five years ago, and together we are raising our two children, Parker and Davi, here. Bethany and I are deeply involved with local mutual aid groups, working to ensure our neighbors have their needs met and ensuring no child goes to bed hungry. This work is more than a hobby; it is a passion that drives my determination to serve. 

I am a servant leader who is passionate about family, community, and my state. I will choose, every time, to value THE PEOPLE over any political party.
