Raymond was born and raised on the Southwest side of Chicago. The son of working class immigrants, Raymond is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and working to improve his community. He has been the strongest champion in the city council for a more urgent and forceful approach to stomp out the violence that has claimed too many of our communities. That's why he's running for Mayor, to provide the leadership that's been lacking to reclaim our neighborhoods.
