Every child in Idaho deserves the chance to succeed — no matter their ZIP code, family income, or background. For James Ruchti, that belief is personal.

He knows that the strength of our schools shapes the future of our communities. When classrooms are underfunded, teachers leave, opportunities disappear, and families are forced to wonder whether their children will be able to build a future here at home. But when we invest in public education, we invest in Idaho itself — in stronger communities, better jobs, safer neighborhoods, and brighter futures for the next generation.

For years, James Ruchti has been one of the strongest champions for public education in the state. While others talk about supporting schools during election season, James has consistently stood up for students, teachers, and parents when it mattered most. He has fought to protect neighborhood schools, increase teacher pay, reduce overcrowded classrooms, and expand vocational and career training programs that prepare students for real opportunities after graduation.

Because James understands something simple but powerful: not every student follows the same path, and every student deserves the tools to succeed.

Some students dream of becoming teachers, nurses, engineers, or small business owners. Others want to enter the trades, work with their hands, and build meaningful careers that support a family. James believes our schools should prepare students for all of those futures — not just one narrow definition of success. That’s why he supports expanding hands-on career and technical education programs that connect students with good-paying jobs right here in Idaho.

But this fight is getting harder.

Powerful political interests continue pushing policies that attack public educators and drain resources away from our local schools while teachers grow more frustrated with the profession and struggle to make ends meet. Idaho families are tired of watching educators leave the profession because they cannot afford to stay. Parents are tired of seeing schools asked to do more with less. And students are paying the price.

James Ruchti refuses to accept that as the future for Idaho.

He believes our teachers deserve respect and fair pay and that Idaho should recruit the best and brightest to the profession. He believes students deserve individual attention, safe classrooms, and real opportunity. He believes parents deserve leaders who will fight for public schools instead of undermining them. Most importantly, he believes Idaho’s future depends on the choices we make right now.

But standing up for public education requires more than good intentions — it requires people willing to join the fight.

That’s why your contribution matters.

Every donation helps James reach more voters, share his vision for Idaho schools, and push back against well-funded special interests trying to reshape public education for their own agenda. Your support helps build a campaign rooted in community, opportunity, and the belief that every Idaho child deserves a quality education.

This campaign is about more than one election. It’s about the kind of Idaho we want to leave to our children and grandchildren.

If you believe in strong public schools, if you believe teachers deserve support, and if you believe Idaho students deserve every opportunity to succeed, now is the time to act.

Join James Ruchti in fighting for our kids’ future. Your support helps elect a proven leader dedicated to fair funding, high quality educators, smaller class sizes, and preparing every student for success.
