Thanks for supporting my campaign!

I was born and raised in West Valley City and we are raising our family here. This is a community I know and love and I’m proud to call home!

I have been involved in our community in many ways: PTA, Community Council, school activities and service projects. I was also the owner and operator of a small business in my home for over 25 years where I interacted with hundreds of people in our community and built lasting friendships. My husband, Lars, teaches in a public school and was recently re-elected to his third term as a city council member. This also provided a unique opportunity of understanding and engagement for me.

I am the mother to five amazing human beings. Being their mother is the highest honor of my life! For over 26 years, my training, focus and experiences involve children: their safety, acceptance, education, development, happiness and well being. I am geared to recognize hazards, obstacles and beliefs which might harm them. This training will be my greatest asset as a representative. Everything I do will continue to be with the children and their future in mind as I strive to be the voice of our community! I will fight for safe neighborhoods, improved education, clean air, and living wages.
