The Utah legislature makes important decisions regarding the environment, education, and technology which impact the future. Further, despite Utah as a whole being increasingly diverse, the legislature is unfortunately not. For example, there have only been four openly gay legislators in Utah legislative history.


The Science Pride PAC supports STEM professionals, especially educators, who are dedicated to advancing equity and representation in Utah's legislature. It also seeks to diversify the membership of Utah's legislature by supporting leaders committed to diversity, both in policy and lived experience.
