Kate for Bountiful City Council

I'm running for re-election to the Bountiful City Council. I've been serving my hometown in this capacity since November of 2018. In the past 4+ years, I've worked to keep Bountiful residents informed about both big and small city happenings via a monthly e-newsletter I write and distribute. I've been a champion of improving our parks and trails offerings in the city and in helping us win grants to stretch our funds to improve these things even further. I feel my work on behalf of my hometown is not yet done. I want to complete the important work on our once-a-decade General Plan update, the implementation of our trails master plan, the implementation of a Bountiful fiber network, and several other budget and policy issues I feel well suited to lead out on. While many may point to state or national politics, I have found that how you feel about your home, your streets, your parks, and your public safety have a much bigger impact on a person’s sense of well-being.
