Local Matters PAC is here to refocus the electorate's attention where it can have a tangible result. So much of our energy goes toward national Presidential and Congressional elections. The result? Well, the result is that too often we're missing the impact we could have to improve life immediately.

By changing our focus to school board, village, city, township, and state legislative races, we create tangible results. It takes hundreds of millions of dollars to win presidential elections. Millions to win congressional races. But, a few thousand dollars or even less can be the difference in who our city councilman is.

A $20,000 ad campaign in a state senate race can finally throw out that career politician. You know, that curmudgeon. The one that's ignored your town's need for road repair funds for decades. But he always manages to be in front of the camera to cut the ribbon for his pet projects.
