Marquiss for Commissioner

Hello! My name is Joel Marquiss, I am a resident of Campbell County and have lived here for over half my life. I Recently got married to my beautiful wife Fabiola and we have a son, plus a daughter due in October. I am Graphic Designer with my own business Marquisstudio leaving my schedule flexible enough to handle the responsibilities of the office. I've formerly worked at the Gillette News Record and in the past done everything from co-owning and managing a car detail shop, Walmart, driving taxi, security officer, and as an independent contractor doing everything from framing to finishing. This recent crisis with COVID19 has made me painfully aware that our government, both locally and nationally, no longer represents the will of the people. Instead, they seem to be treating our nation and communities like small children with the "we know what's best for you" approach. I am running for Campbell County Commissioner to bring representation and transparency back to the people of this community. I am a Republican conservative that wants to represent right, left, and moderates in our local government. I hope to have your vote in the August primary, and again in November.
