When I first ran for City Council 8 years ago, I expressed my hesitation of becoming a politician to longtime Blaine Co. Commissioner Len Harlig. Harlig said he considered himself a public servant rather than a politician. After winning that first election by a single vote (I am a walking civics lesson for ‘every vote counts’), I have tried to always conduct myself as a public servant when making decisions as a Councilperson, by seeking input from citizens and stakeholders regarding what is best for our communities in the Wood River Valley. I appreciate your support in this campaign, and if elected to serve I promise to continue to represent the citizens and stakeholders in Ketchum to the best of my abilities.
