Molly Buck For Ankeny House District 41

I am a teacher in Ankeny and have been a teacher for 26 years. I have always been proud to be an educator, but the changes made to education by the GOP in the Iowa State House are not good for the health of Iowa's educational system. Chronic underfunding have left schools struggling to make ends meet and to provide programming that keeps up with the times. Harmful voucher bills threaten to cut funding to our public schools even more and send those funds to private institutions. I believe in public money for public schools. I also believe in clean water and air. Continued funding for Iowa's solar and wind energy industries will create jobs for Iowans and help maintain a cleaner environment. I also believe in funding programing to clean up Iowa's waterways so that we have clean water for drinking, fishing and recreation. I will fight for the rights of working Iowans to earn a living wage and fight for the rights of workers when it comes to health care and unemployment benefits. I know that I can work across the isle to get things done. I am a candidate for all Iowans.
