There have been many people explaining how they don’t necessarily know how to be an effective ally. People are fearful for their lives, jobs, and economic security if they speak out and stand with the black community. To that I say: Imagine how we feel. No more excuses. Use your privilege and help save our lives. Let's talk about it.

Please note that this event is to help white people and those who want to be allies but may not know how because they are ending a lineage of racism in their families or may come from cultures/countries where race isn't an issue or may just be scared of offending their black loved ones by overstepping. This is for them. THIS IS THE ONLY SPACE WE WILL CREATE FOR THEM. Our programming is always and will always be centered around and be for the black community. With that said, please share this with the appropriate persons but also feel free to join the conversation RESPECTFULLY. We need all viewpoints in order to discuss and create viable solutions that can be implemented, NOW.
