Daron Olson for Ward 4

I want to serve the city that shaped me. I am a quintessential son of Billings. Born and raised in this wonderful town, the city that sits between the river and Rims. I am a graduate of Billings Senior High and Montana State University - Billings. I am solutions-oriented, open-minded, and forward-thinking. I am a millennial with a grand vision for Billings. I am married to my beautiful wife Ashley, who is a 4th grade teacher at Boulder Elementary and will be beginning her 16th year as an educator. I have three wonderful children, Karmella (10), Cruz (8), and Kintla (2). And honestly, the aforementioned, my three kids, is the motivating factor for me to enter this race. Billings has some prime opportunity in front of it. The decisions we make today will have considerable impact on what Billings becomes in 25 - 30 years, when my kids are my age currently. I want to leave them a Billings that they are proud of. I want them to want to raise their children here too. Billings is a great city. But business in the modern day has changed. We just need to make sure Billings continues to be a great city by being safe, welcoming and inclusive, and is business friendly.
