## About

As a Cameron County resident, I have seen how the same unopposed candidates have run most of the leadership roles within the Lower Valley. I'm neither a politician nor pretend to be one, but I want to give our constituents an option for new representation...a new voice for 2024.

I have six years of experience in the tax and property valuation field (Cameron Central Appraisal District - CAD). I've been part of organizations like the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO) and the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts (TAAD). I have led multiple departments within the CAD, which gave me round-up knowledge of the whole office operations.

Academically, I have a Master's degree in Public Affairs (MPA), where I graduated with the Pi Alpha Alpha Honors in the Public Administration, Public Policy, and Public Affairs program. I also took a fourteen-month course and got certified as a Public Manager (CPM) through the state of Texas. Additionally, I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Science (BAAS), focusing on business management.

There is much more to running a successful office than just having a well-known title. Leadership is providing motivation, encouragement, and mentorship to a group of people who, just like me, are ready to serve the public. With your support, I want to be that new voice our community needs.

Thanks in advance for your support, and God bless!
