State Senator Jeff Reichman

I was born and raised in Southeast Iowa, I learned what it means to work hard and the values that make me the person I am today. For over 27 years I have served my country in the United States Marine Corps, including two combat tours in Iraq. After returning home from active duty, I faced a layoff and unemployment, the struggles that many families like ours are facing today. I currently own a home inspection business and work swing shift in production at Roquette America. Iowa is and has always been my home and I want to see it grow and prosper. It’s difficult to watch businesses that have been around most of my life close their doors and see those storefronts sit empty. I believe one of the key solutions to revitalizing our community is economic growth for our area. To set Iowans up for success we can’t simply educate, we need to ensure there are job opportunities here in our state and our local communities.
