Hi, I’m Rich and I’m Running to be your state senator

Born in Twin Falls, I dedicated nearly forty years to serving our nation, including 22 years in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant and First Sergeant. I later served 16 years with the Department of State as a career U.S. diplomat. Since retiring in 2020, I have felt called to continue serving, this time here at home in Idaho.

I have been a Republican all my life, and I believe in the traditional values of our party: protecting life, limiting the size and reach of government, and exercising real fiscal discipline with taxpayer dollars. I am a strong fiscal conservative who truly enjoys helping people, and I want to make Idaho a better place to live and raise a family.

I have been married to my wife, Tracie, for 44 years, and we attend Parkview Christian Church in Meridian.
