Roberta Zamarron for Hood County District Clerk

Hi, I’m Roberta and I’m running for Hood County District Clerk. I’m passionate about serving our community with honesty, integrity, and accountability.

I’m a Conservative Republican, committed to upholding our traditional values and working hard for the people of Hood County.

Since joining Hood County in 2017, I’ve gained hands-on experience in court operations, budgeting, and financial management.

In March 2024, I was honored to be appointed District Clerk by Judge Bufkin, and in just nine months, our office achieved major improvements:
Added credit/debit card and online payment options
Reconciled all accounts and cleared past-due balances
Paid out over $395,000 in outstanding services and foreclosure proceeds
Hired a bilingual clerk to better serve our community
Kept the office open during lunch hours for your convenience

I believe campaigns should be clean, honest, and respectful. We may not all agree politically, but we can still treat each other with kindness. That’s the spirit I want to bring back to local service.

I proudly serve on the Kiwanis Board and am active in the Wednesday Women’s Club and Opera Guild. I love supporting local fundraisers and events that strengthen Hood County.

I have no hidden agenda, just a sincere desire to serve with transparency and fairness.

I’d be honored to earn your vote in March 2026.

If you’d like to volunteer, request a yard sign, or donate, please reach out, I’d love to visit with you.

Thank you, and God bless.
