Rojas for Fort Walton Beach City Council

My name is Michael Rojas and I am the Realtor with the Hat asking for the opportunity to represent you on the Fort Walton Beach City Council. You might be asking yourself, “Apart from your cool hat, why should I vote for you?” Here are a few reasons I feel that I will make a great City Council Member:

·     Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Stetson University

·     Master’s Degree in Religion from Trevecca Nazarene University

·     Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University

·     15 Years of experience working with a national non-profit organization

o  Fund raising experience

o  Experience recruiting and training volunteers

·     7 years of experience owning and running my own business

o  Budgeting experience

o  Knowledge of financial reports

o  Managing Personnel

·     6 Years working as a Realtor in Fort Walton Beach

o  Familiar with property values in our city

o  Understanding what is and what will continue to draw people to our city

o  Joined the City Code Enforcement Board in 2019 (Vice-Chair 2020)

As a City Council member, I plan to fight for affordable housing, better job opportunities for young professionals, and a solution to the traffic and parking issues we face.
