I am running for Pacifica City Council, District 5 because I believe our beloved community is at a critical moment. We need effective leadership that will stand up for Pacifica, protect what makes our community special, and prepare responsibly for the challenges ahead.

For more than 20 years, I have been deeply engaged in Pacifica and have worked to advocate for our residents and our community. I understand the challenges we face—and I believe we need leadership grounded in facts, informed by community input, and guided by a clear understanding of what works for Pacifica.

Our city faces urgent and complex challenges. Unrealistic state housing mandates will overburden our already-strained infrastructure, while sea-level rise, flooding, shoreline erosion, and wildfire hazards threaten our homes, businesses, and neighborhoods. These challenges require more than slogans or political posturing. They require practical, data-driven, common-sense solutions that reflect Pacifica's unique needs.

I believe good leadership starts with listening. City Hall should be transparent and accountable to the people it serves, and residents should have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their neighborhoods and their future. I will work collaboratively with residents, neighborhood leaders, community organizations, and small businesses to find solutions—and I will ensure that those solutions include measurable results.

Pacifica deserves a strong voice: one that is informed enough to understand the issues, independent enough to stand up for our community, and thoughtful enough to bring people together around practical solutions.

I am running to help ensure that Pacifica remains resilient, beautiful, and community-centered—not just for today, but for generations to come.
