5K's and Buckets For Books

Join us in our efforts to tackle the summer reading slide by putting books in the hands of children.

1.     For every 5K run by Sheb this year, Rising Star Educational Consultants, LLC will donate a book to 50 elementary students to take home.

2.     For every 3-pointer made by Brandon (during the 5k run), Evolution Basketball, LLC will donate a book for an elementary student to take home.

How can you support or get involved to reach more students?

1.     Donate a new book

2.     Donate funds to purchase books

3.     Run a 5k with Sheb, and Rising Star will fund an additional 5 books.

4.  Shoot 3-pointers with Brandon, and Evolution Basketball will donate an additional 5 books.

Bose Elementary is the first school chosen for this initiative. The next school will be Brass Elementary. Future schools will be announced.

Let’s stay healthy, have fun, and tackle early literacy and the summer slide together. More literacy events and programming are coming for summer 2025. Stay tuned.
