Science Moab is a nonprofit that seeks to uplift, inspire, and empower this region by making science accessible to all. We envision communities across the Colorado Plateau thriving from a deeper engagement with science and place-based knowledge.

We aim to increase appreciation and understanding of the region so that locals and visitors alike may treat it with love and care.

To achieve this goal, we run a multifaceted outreach program (podcast, radio show, and newspaper column); Science Certification trainings to enable local guides to communicate place-based science; and School to Science, a program pairing local high-school students with scientists to develop college and career readiness and inspire scientific careers.
