When the Greensboro Bend Methodist Church closed, the Bend Revitalization Initiative submitted a grant application to the Village Trust Initiative to obtain support to convert the closed church and parsonage to reuse by the Bend community. This is an opportunity to bring needed services and moderately priced apartments to the Bend village.
