Mark Jackson for Hood County Judge Campaign

I am proud to announce that I am running to be your next Hood County Judge. It’s a decision that doesn’t come lightly to me but after much prayer and discussion with family and friends, I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work with all our neighbors across the Hood County region. I’ve watched for too many years as our community has increasingly become more and more polarized needlessly dividing itself along geographical, economic and political lines, even amongst our finest of conservative citizens. It’s time to stop the infighting and come together with everyone having a seat at the table. It takes strong leadership in all positions across all our local governmental entities: Leaders who are willing to listen and be respectful of one another even if they cannot agree. We’ve got to refocus the conversation on building partnerships that benefit everyone of Hood County so that we are prepared for the tremendous growth and challenges that lay ahead.
